Universal Pictures has landed the rights to Britney Spears‘ bestselling memoir “The Woman in Me,” with “Wicked” director Jon M. Chu and producer Marc Platt attached to develop the feature. Spears shared news of the “secret project” on social media, writing that Platt has “always made my favorite movies” and telling her fans to “stay tuned” for more news.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by the company on the evening of Sunday, October 1, 2023. The development comes barely two weeks after the Chairman of BUA Cement Plc., Abdul Samad Rabiu, announced the company's plan to crash cement prices shortly after an audience with President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja.
