When the concert documentary for Beyoncé and Jay Z’s “On the Run” tour premieres on HBO on Saturday, the Bonnie and Clyde imagery is sure to be in full effect.
The couple have made frequent reference to the famous criminals for more than a decade now — Jay Z’s song “03 Bonnie & Clyde,” on which his now-wife was featured, came out in 2002. They have returned to that imagery in promoting their latest tour, as with a short film called Bang Bang, the first part of which they released earlier this month.

First place on the list—which is based on 1.1 million college syllabi collected by the Open Syllabus Project—goes to Kate L. Turabian for her Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, assigned in 3,998 classrooms over the last 15 years. Turbian is followed closely by Diana Hacker, author of several writing handbooks, with Morrison and Austen in third and fourth places, respectively.

Ebony Wilkerson told her screaming kids to close their eyes and go to sleep as she steered the car at a dizzying speed into the ocean Friday, authorities said. On Friday, the South Carolina woman was charged with three counts of first-degree attempted murder and child abuse with great harm, the New York Daily News reports.
Joaquín Guzmán Loera, the Mexican drug lord more commonly known as El Chapo, has hired a quartet of private attorneys in lieu of public defenders as he prepares to face a litany of charges related to drug trafficking, led by the lawyer who successfully kept the son of one of New York’s most notorious mobsters out of prison.
The New York Times reports that Guzman has retained Jeffrey Lichtman and Marc Fernich, both of whom defended John Gotti, Jr.
